Where do I start? Well, I could tell you my life story, but that would be long and boring. It was during the summer after my sophomore year that I made some life changes. I had taken the spring semester and summer to work in Washington, DC and I started to realize there were many things I could do differently.
My desire in sharing the lessons I learned, and continue to learn, is to challenge the way we live our lives, to rethink our actions, and to explore possibilities. Complacency has become part of our culture, but by simple steps, we can live lives of purpose. I hope that Counter Complacency can show that challenges abound in this world and it is by being proactive, not accepting that status quo, that we can live new lives, lives of joy, hope, health, adventure, fun and courage.
